Updates

WOW - It's been FIVE years since I last did an update.

I have been more involved with my dolls in the last year or two, mainly because I have started going to our area's local doll club meetings. They are once a month.  I am the only collector that collects a specific doll.

I haven't added too much new to my collection in the last 5 years.  My collection is already pretty big and there aren't too many pieces that I'm missing.  Plus anything I DO find, it's usually sold in the U.S., costs TONS of money and the shipping to Canada is really expensive. Therefore, I tend to pass...

The reason for this update, is that I'm starting to update my photos.  I now have a new cell phone for better photos and I also wanted to include some close-ups of some of the accessories.

Also, some of the people in my Tammy Facebook groups are using my blog as a reference, so I want to make sure that they have a clearer idea of what the dolls and/or outfits look like.

This is going to be a LONG process.  I've done only 3 of Pepper's outfits so far and it seemed to take HOURS! Posing, taking the photos at different angles, downloading, editing and then adding to the blog.

SO...we'll see how this goes.

Happy collecting!

Updates....

Well it's been almost FOUR years since I've updated this blog.  I really haven't bought anything new so haven't felt the need to update.

However, there seems to be a resurgence of interest on my Tammy Doll Facebook group with many  new members.  Some of these new members need information on Tammy Doll collecting and I have directed them to this blog for guidance.

But my photos aren't complete because I don't own all the items that belong to each of the outfits.  So I thought I would add some reference photos that I have found on line to help them out.  I will mark these photos accordingly.

It will take me some time, so bear with me.

As a reminder - the first photo(s) are items in my collection.  The reference photos are not mine, I have uploaded them from the internet or from fellow collectors.

Updates...

I'm going to update this blog to include the item numbers of the outfits and try to answer any questions posed in the comments.

Grown Up Straight-legged Tammy

Grown up straight legged Tammy looked very similar to Grown Up Pos'n Tammy except her legs didn't bend.  She came in a red/white striped crop top and a short, pleated royal blue skort plus shoes.  Her box had a yellow insert and she also came with a wire stand.

There is also a AA version of Grown Up Tammy that is EXTREMELY HARD TO FIND.

This Tammy is slimmer than the original and her legs bend. She came in a one piece red/white outfit either with or without feet (the other one had bell bottom type legs) and red or white shoes (pumps). She has short hair in a bob style cut.  She came in a telephone booth style box (the same as Misty)

One piece of hair is longer than the rest and is braided and coiled on top of her head then secured with a red ribbon. She wears a red, one-piece leotard with a red tulle tutu.  The box has a swing inside on which she sits (missing). Also included are three 2-piece pink curlers and an ankle gripping stand.
